Aba North Executive Chairman, Hon. Timothy Kalu Iheke, Calls for Hope and Unity as Nigeria Marks 65 Years of Independence
On Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary, Hon. Timothy Kalu Iheke, Executive Chairman of Aba North Local Government Area, has extended warm felicitations to the people of Aba North, Abia State, and Nigerians nationwide.
In his Independence Day message, Hon. Iheke urged citizens to reflect on the resilience, courage, and unity that have sustained the nation through decades of challenges and triumphs. He emphasized the need to honour the sacrifices of past generations and to collectively commit to building a Nigeria where progress, opportunity, and prosperity are shared by all.
“The 65th Independence Anniversary is not just a celebration of our nation’s past but a reminder of the potential that lies ahead.
“Aba North, and indeed all of Nigeria, stands on the cusp of tremendous opportunities, driven by innovation, dedication, and the unwavering spirit of our people,” Iheke stated.
He encouraged citizens to recognize that every small step toward progress, every act of kindness, and every effort to uplift one another contributes to creating a prosperous, peaceful, and proud Nigeria.
Concluding his message, Hon. Iheke called on the people of Aba North to remain hopeful and steadfast, stressing that the nation’s best days are yet to come.
“Nigeria at 65 is a call to action, a reminder that together, we can build a nation that reflects the greatness within us all,” he said.
