A self-styled “Flagboy,” known for his visible support for the Obidient movement, has publicly announced his decision to withdraw his backing for the New Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and its political figurehead, Peter Obi, in a dramatic display of political frustration.
The man made the declaration in a video while setting fire to an NDC flag alongside Peter Obi-branded political merchandise, turning what appeared to be a symbolic protest into a highly publicised statement of his rejection of the political platform he had previously supported.
