Sowore Blasts Tinubu on X, Accuses President of Clueless Leadership, Land Grabbing, and 2027 Manipulations
Human rights activist and outspoken political critic, Omoyele Sowore, has once again stirred national debate after taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) page to launch a scathing attack on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accusing him of being disconnected from the realities Nigerians face.
According to Sowore, the President has shown little awareness of the worsening socio-economic situation in the country, alleging that Tinubu’s focus is limited to personal and political interests rather than national wellbeing.
In the strongly worded message posted on Wednesday, Sowore wrote:
“Tinubu appears not to even know what’s going on in Nigeria, except where there is land to grab, loans to obtain and steal and using Nyesom Wike to cause confusion in preparation for his failed and dead 2027 ambition. At this point, #TinubuMustGo!”
Sowore’s post immediately triggered widespread reactions across social media, especially as it comes at a time when Nigerians continue to grapple with economic hardship, insecurity, inflation, and political tension.
The activist’s claim that Tinubu is relying on the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, to “cause confusion” adds a new layer to political speculations surrounding the administration’s internal strategy ahead of the 2027 elections.
As conversations intensify online, Sowore’s remarks have amplified concerns among critics who believe the current administration is not addressing the growing discontent in the country.
The Presidency has not yet issued an official response to
the statement.
