ELITE EMPIRE SHOW KIDS PAY COURTESY VISIT TO ABA NORTH CHAIRMAN, HON. TIMOTHY KALU IHEKE — A DAY OF INSPIRATION, ACCOLADES AND VISION FOR A NEW GENERATION

Yesterday, the 27th of November 2025, members of the now-famous children’s programme, the “Elite Empire Show”, paid a special courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Aba North Local Government Area, Hon. Timothy Kalu Iheke, at his office in Eziama-Aba. The brilliant young minds were led by their guardian and show host, Mr. Augustin Nwokenkwo, who guided the enthusiastic team into what became a heartwarming and inspirational interactive session.

Hon. Iheke welcomed the young scholars with cheerful warmth, acknowledging their energy and passion. Reflecting on global educational standards, he narrated that in the United Kingdom, Nigerians are often not the preferred choice as teachers compared to Ghanaians. Still, he emphasized that when it comes to writing, “no African country beats or can be compared to Nigerians.” He, however, noted that Nigerians often speak English with influences from their local dialects.

He further added, “What matters is the accent and it is what sells you. We will do everything within our administration to encourage you. Infact very soon I’ll visit your school to encourage you.

“So let us know your challenges so that we can know where we can come in.”

The Chairman reaffirmed his admiration for their “enthusiasm, zeel and passion,” promising to support their growth and ensure they become the success they aspire to be.

Earlier in his introduction, Mr. Nwokenkwo, a teacher at Dé Prestigious States Citadel International School in Aba North, explained that all seven cast members of the show are students of the same school. He revealed that the Elite Empire Show was birthed from the inspiration drawn from the visionary leadership style of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, whose reforms have reshaped education and governance in Abia State.

According to him, “Dr. Alex Otti is the best thing that has ever happened to us. This students with him their future and education is secured. With Govenor Otti Abia education has hope and the children have hope. We appreciate the Governor.”

He also praised the leadership qualities of the Aba North Chairman, telling him, “Sir we’ve also heard and observed alot about you, your appointee won’t stop talking about you. He keeps telling us about your good works and your type of personality who hated corruption. We are blessed and humbled to have someone like you to steer the affairs of Aba North.”

In a brilliant and eloquent address, the Moderator of the show, Master Amaku Chinecherem Michael Jr., fondly called Doctor Amaku, delivered a speech that captivated everyone present.

I bring you warm greetings.”

He then highlighted the remarkable achievements of Hon. Iheke since assuming office on 4th November 2025:

1. The inauguration of the Aba North Drug Control Committee in partnership with ISSUP, advancing a zero-tolerance strategy against drug abuse.

2. Hosting the Abia State Flood Alert Team and strengthening flood-prevention enforcement—especially in Ariaria and vulnerable communities.

3. Celebrating integrity by honouring Mr. Lucky Okoro, the tricycle operator who returned ₦4 million, adopting him as “Ambassador of Aba North.”

4. Meaningful engagement with the Cooperative Motor Union to restore order and cleanliness in parks.

5. Visiting the NYSC lodge, assuring corps members of improved security and enhanced living conditions.

6. Continuous mobilisation for Governor Otti’s development agenda through engagements with ward leaders, youth groups, and market executives.

He noted that while some stakeholders had expressed concerns regarding revenue activities in Ariaria Market, Hon. Iheke maintained that all actions were aimed at ensuring transparency and order.

Adding her voice, Miss Mmaduabum Kamsiriochukwu expressed admiration for the chairman’s leadership, stating, “Sir, it is clear that Aba North under your administration is steering focus, boldness, and a determination to deliver real results. Your leadership reflects the renewed spirit of governance championed by Governor Alex Otti, where accountability, service, and community development come first. Thank you.”

The children later gave a brief presentation from the Elite Empire Show, creatively highlighting the Chairman’s achievements and the transformative direction of his administration.

The Elite Empire Show has become an innovative platform for nurturing young minds, giving teenagers and pupils a space to discuss political, social, and developmental issues impacting Abia State and Nigeria. The children often identify themselves by their future professions—“Doctor,” “Lawyer,” “Engineer” encouraging a culture of ambition, vision, and intellectual curiosity.

Present during the visit were: Hon. Onyekachi Okoroafor, Chief of Staff to the LGA Chairman; Mrs. Chioma Onyenwe, Supervisory Councillor for Education; Mr. Princewill Onyeulo, Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture; Other aides and officials of the council

The visit was marked by inspiration, mentorship, and renewed commitment to youth development in Aba North, signifying a growing movement of young thinkers who a re ready to embrace leadership in the New Abia.
