FUSENGBUWA RULING HOUSE REJECTS OTUNBA WASIU AYINDE ADESANYA’S LINEAGE CLAIM, DECLARES SUBMITTED FORM “NULL AND VOID”

The Fusengbuwa Ruling House of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, has formally rejected the lineage claim submitted by Otunba Wasiu Ayinde Adewale Olasunkanmi Adesanya, declaring his completed Ruling House Members Particulars and Linkage Form “null, void and of no consequence.”

In an official communication dated 11 December 2025, addressed to Otunba Adesanya at his GRA residence in Ijebu-Ode, the ruling house acknowledged receiving the completed form signed by him on 10 December 2025. However, the family raised serious concerns about the manner in which the form was certified and the authenticity of the claims contained therein.

According to the ruling house, the form was certified by one Omoba Adetayo Abayomi Oduneye Eruobodo on 8 December 2025—two days before Otunba Adesanya himself signed it. This discrepancy, they noted, suggested that the document had been presigned.

The ruling house further asserted that:

1. The form was not signed by an authorised representative or the legitimate head of the claimant’s purported family unit.

2. The individual who certified the form, Omoba Adetayo Abayomi Oduneye Eruobodo, is not a registered member of the Jadiara Royal House and therefore lacks the authority to endorse any linkage documentation on behalf of the family.

3. An extensive investigation revealed no evidence confirming Otunba Adesanya’s membership in the Jadiara Royal House or in the Fusengbuwa Ruling House.

Based on these findings, the Fusengbuwa Ruling House declared the submitted lineage form invalid and unequivocally rejected Otunba Adesanya’s claim of belonging to the royal family.
