Aba South Stands United as Hon. Ahuruonye Napoleon Elliot Dedicates Daughter, Miss Adaku Eliana-Moses Ahuruonye, in Grand Church Ceremony and Civic Reception
Aba South Local Government Area was aglow with joy, faith, and communal solidarity as Hon. Ahuruonye Napoleon Elliot, the Supervisor for Information and Digital Economy, alongside his family, dedicated their daughter, Miss Adaku Eliana-Moses Ahuruonye, in a well-attended child dedication ceremony that drew political leaders, community stakeholders, and well-wishers from across the council.
The solemn church dedication took place at Dominion City Church, Umuojima Road, Aba, where prayers were offered for the child’s divine guidance, sound upbringing, and a future anchored on faith, purpose, and excellence. The atmosphere reflected deep gratitude and reverence as the Ahuruonye family formally presented their daughter before God and the congregation.
Following the church service, the celebration moved to the Aba South Town Hall, where a colourful and lively reception was held in honour of the child and her parents. The reception became a convergence point for leaders across party lines, demonstrating unity, goodwill, and shared commitment to the social fabric of Aba South.
Dignitaries present at the event included the Executive Chairman of Aba South Local Government Area, Hon. Obialor Denis Anyanwu, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Akudo Precious Anyanwu. Also in attendance were Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike, former member representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency; members of the Aba South Legislative Council; Supervisors of the Local Government; and the Secretary to the Aba South Local Government, Hon. Gideon Adikwuru.
Other notable attendees included the Chairman of the Labour Party in Aba South, Chief Egbebu Mmaju (Arino); the Coordinator of Abia Arise for Aba South, Mazi Kingsley Madubuko; the 2023 House of Assembly Candidate for Aba South State Constituency under the Young Progressive Party (YPP), Hon. Chinedu Akpulonu (Kachocho); Labour Party chieftain, Prince Aham Ikonne; political leader, Chief Onwuka; and the Aba South Coordinator of the Abia State Orientation Agency (ABSOA), Chief Ogan Okereke. Several community leaders, political stakeholders, families, and friends were also present, adding colour and warmth to the occasion.
