UKWA-LA-NGWA NATION GEARS UP FOR TOMORROW’S GRAND CIVIC RECEPTION IN ABA AS ABA SOUTH MAYOR, HON. OBIALOR DENIS ANYANWU, TO LEAD MASSIVE WELCOME FOR GOVERNOR ALEX CHIOMA OTTI
Aba, the commercial heartbeat of Abia State, is set to witness another historic moment as the Executive Mayor of Aba South Local Government Area, Hon. Obialor Denis Anyanwu, on behalf of the government and people of Aba South, warmly welcomes the performing and result-oriented Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, to the Grand Civic Reception organized by the people of Ukwa-La-Ngwa Nation.
The highly anticipated civic reception is conceived as a collective expression of gratitude, solidarity, and renewed confidence in the transformative leadership of Governor Otti, whose administration has continued to redefine governance, restore public trust, and deliver people-centered development across all sectors of the state.
Hon. Obialor Denis Anyanwu described the visit of Governor Otti to Aba as deeply symbolic, noting that Aba remains the economic soul of Abia State and a strategic pillar in the Governor’s development blueprint. He emphasized that the Grand Civic Reception by the Ukwa-La-Ngwa Nation represents a united voice of appreciation for a son of the soil whose leadership has rekindled hope, dignity, and optimism among the people.
According to the Aba South Mayor, the people of Ukwa-La-Ngwa extraction are proud of the Governor’s remarkable achievements in infrastructure renewal, urban transformation, healthcare revitalization, education reforms, security strengthening, and prudent financial management. These achievements, he noted, have not only repositioned Abia State but have also restored the pride of Ndi Abia at home and in the diaspora.
Hon. Anyanwu further stated that Governor Otti’s commitment to Aba’s rebirth, particularly through massive road rehabilitation, drainage projects, environmental sanitation reforms, and support for small and medium-scale enterprises, has reaffirmed the Governor’s passion for grassroots development and inclusive growth.
The Executive Mayor stressed that the Grand Civic Reception is more than a ceremonial gathering; it is a loud endorsement of visionary leadership and a clear declaration of the unbreakable bond between Ukwa-La-Ngwa Nation and Governor Alex Chioma Otti. He described the Governor as a listening leader, a strategic thinker, and a courageous reformer who has consistently placed the interest of the people above politics.
As Aba prepares to host this landmark event, Hon.
