OPM General Overseer, HRH Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere Hails Governor Otti as “A Life Saver” Over State-of-the-Art General Hospital Project in Ohanku Ndoki
The General Overseer of the Omega Power Ministry (OPM) and the traditional ruler of Ikwu Orie Ohanku Ndoki Autonomous Community in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State, His Royal Highness Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, has described Abia State Governor, His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, as “a life saver” for initiating the construction of a state-of-the-art general hospital in Ohanku Ndoki.
In a strongly worded statement, the cleric and monarch narrated the prolonged neglect of healthcare infrastructure in his community and the life-changing intervention of Governor Otti’s administration.
“There are many reasons I said that our Governor, His Excellency Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR is A LIFE SAVER.
For more than 8 years even before I became a KING, my community IKWUORIE AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY has an old health center, but the patients there are only Cockroach and reptiles because the whole health center is abandoned and covered with bushes and there no single health workers posted to the place till date.
So Eight years ago, I used tithes and offerings from OPM CHURCH to built OPM free specialist hospital in OHANKU, Abia state.
This is the only functional hospital in IKWUORIE my community where I am the King. The hospital is 100% FREE OF CHARGE.
“Our dear Governor has shown that he was sent by God to liberate us in Abia. Only two years as Governor, he is not building a health center in OHANKU Ndoki, Ukwa East Local Government, he is building A STATE OF ART GENERAL HOSPITAL.
TRULY Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR is a LIFE SAVER.”
The monarch’s commendation underscores growing public acknowledgment of the Otti administration’s focus on rebuilding and expanding healthcare infrastructure across Abia State, particularly in previously neglected rural communities.
Residents of Ohanku Ndoki and surrounding areas have expressed optimism that the new general hospital will significantly improve access to quality healthcare services, reduce preventable deaths, and lessen the burden on individuals who previously had to travel long distances to seek medical attention.
Governor Otti’s healthcare agenda, which prioritizes functional facilities, equipped hospitals, and improved welfare for health workers, continues to receive praise from stakeholders, religious leaders, traditional rulers, and community members who view the reforms as a turning point for the state’s health sector.
For the people of Ikwu Orie Ohanku Ndoki Autonomous Community, the planned state-of-the-art general hospital represents not just a physical structure, but a symbol of renewed hope and inclusion in Abia’s development journey.
