ABA NORTH MAYOR CELEBRATES GOVERNOR ALEX OTTI ON HIS BIRTHDAY, DESCRIBES HIM AS DIVINE GIFT TO ABIA
The Executive Mayor of Aba North Local Government Area, Hon. Timothy Kalu Iheke, has joined millions of Ndi-Abia and well-wishers across the state and beyond to celebrate the birthday of the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, describing him as a rare gift and a transformational leader whose emergence came at a critical moment in the state’s history.
In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, the Mayor noted that the Governor’s birthday is not merely a celebration of age but a reflection of divine purpose and impactful leadership. He stated that Governor Otti’s life represents a providential blessing not only to his family but to the entire people of Abia State.
Hon. Iheke emphasized that since assuming office, Governor Otti has demonstrated purposeful leadership by rebuilding institutions, restoring fiscal discipline, reviving critical infrastructure, and renewing public confidence in governance. According to him, the administration has redefined public service in Abia, replacing stagnation with progress and despair with hope.
The Mayor further described the Governor’s birthday as symbolic of transformation, accountability, and visionary leadership, noting that the current administration has ushered in what he termed a rebirth of Abia State. He stressed that the true value of life lies in service to humanity, adding that Governor Otti’s leadership exemplifies that principle.
Speaking from the perspective of local governance, Hon. Iheke affirmed that the Governor’s style of leadership has inspired performance at all levels of government. He commended Governor Otti’s courage in taking bold decisions, his insistence on transparency, and his unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people, stating that integrity and performance have become hallmarks of the present administration.
The Mayor prayed for continued strength, sound health, renewed wisdom, and long life for the Governor to fully accomplish the mandate entrusted to him by the people of Abia State.
He concluded by expressing gratitude on behalf of the people of Aba North, affirming that Abia remains proud of its Governor and appreciative of his leadership.
