Abia Sets Stage for Grand Finale of 3rd Anniversary Celebration Under Governor Alex Otti Today
The Abia State Government has officially announced the grand finale of activities marking the 3rd anniversary of the administration of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, scheduled to hold on Today, Friday, May 29, 2026, with a lineup of ceremonial events designed to celebrate three years of governance, reforms, and developmental strides across the state.
According to the press release signed by the honourable Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu, the finale will feature a vibrant Anniversary Parade at 10:00AM, followed by a State Banquet at 5:00PM. Both events are expected to attract top government officials, traditional rulers, political stakeholders, development partners, and citizens from across the state, all gathering to reflect on the journey so far and the milestones achieved under the current administration.
The celebration forms part of a broader commemoration of what the government describes as a period of transformation, institutional reforms, and renewed public confidence in governance in Abia State.
