“APC Will Win in Kaduna” — Defence Minister, Christopher Musa Predicts Sweeping Victory Across All Levels
Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa, has expressed strong confidence in the electoral prospects of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, predicting that the ruling party will emerge victorious across major elective positions in the state.
Musa made the declaration during an interview on Channels Television, where he spoke with certainty about the APC’s chances in future elections in Kaduna.
The Defence Minister said his confidence extends beyond the presidential election to the governorship race and other levels of the electoral contest.
“APC will win in Kaduna, that I know, in presidential, governorship, and all levels,“ he declared.
His statement amounts to a broad political prediction for Kaduna, one of the most politically significant states in Northern Nigeria and a key battleground in presidential and governorship elections.
Kaduna has historically attracted considerable attention during election seasons because of its large voting population and its importance within the political dynamics of the North. Control of the state is therefore often viewed as strategically significant for parties seeking to consolidate their influence in the region.
Musa’s prediction comes as political activities and alignments continue to gather momentum ahead of future electoral contests, with parties expected to intensify their grassroots mobilisation, membership drives and campaigns for voter support.
While the minister expressed certainty about the APC’s prospects, the eventual outcome will ultimately be determined by voters and the electoral process. His remarks, however, are likely to generate reactions across political circles, particularly among opposition parties and their supporters in Kaduna State.
