David Hundeyin Reacts to Primate Ayodele’s Video, Criticises Organised Religion
Nigerian journalist and investigative reporter David Hundeyin has reacted to a video featuring Primate Elijah Ayodele, in which the cleric appeared to issue a warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the possible release of documents by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
In the video circulating online, Primate Ayodele said: “President Tinubu should do everything possible to stop the FBI from releasing these documents because it could cost him a lot.”
Reacting to the video in a post on X, Hundeyin expressed satisfaction that the exchange was being publicly broadcast, while using the opportunity to take a broader swipe at what he described as organised foreign religions.
He wrote:
“I’m happy all of this is being televised.
“If you like, don’t deprogram yourself from this scam called Christianity and organised foreign religions in general. Anything you see, you will take it like that.
“Them no dey beg person to gain sense.“
