Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah Makes Fresh Appointments, Names 23 Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants
Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu State has approved the appointment of 23 new Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants, in a fresh move to strengthen his administration and drive key areas of governance across the state.
The appointments, announced by the Secretary to the Enugu State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, take immediate effect.
Among those appointed as Special Advisers are Hon. Chukwudi Ezinwa on Labour Union and Association Matters; Hon. Sunday Nnamani, popularly known as Orlando, on Special Duties; and Mr. Williams Chukwu on Agriculture.
Others are Prince Afam Agana, Special Adviser on Infrastructure Compliance; Humphrey Onyima, Special Adviser on Investment Strategy and Public Relations; Hon. Tony Ugwu, Special Adviser on Rural Development; and Chief Ernest Nweze, Special Adviser on Party Coordination and Mobilisation.
Hon. Emeka Onunze was appointed Special Adviser on Monitoring and Evaluation, while Mr. Robinson Odo, mni, will serve as Special Adviser on Labour and Productivity.
Governor Mbah also approved the appointment of Pastor Kenneth Asogwa, popularly known as Ebube Muonso, as Senior Special Assistant on Heritage and Community Relations.
Pastor Tochukwu Ogbodo was named Senior Special Assistant on Social Engagement, while Barr. Lucky Chukwu will serve as Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs.
Other Senior Special Assistants appointed include Belonwu Nnaji on Cultural Orientation; Hon. Steve Odo on Tourism; Hon. Francis Ikewette Ede on Public Communication; and Mr. Sunny Okafor on General Duties.
Hon. Chinedu Okwu Otaka was appointed Senior Special Assistant on Social Orientation and Mobilisation, while Otaba Cosmas Ikechukwu will oversee the Protection of Public Utilities.
Also appointed are Pius Okeagu as Senior Special Assistant on Assets Management; Rt. Hon. Innocent Emeka Ugwu as Senior Special Assistant on Inter-Party Affairs; and Mrs. Eucharia Offor as Senior Special Assistant on Human Resource Management.
Mr. Kenneth Oforma was named Senior Special Assistant on Policy and Communication, while Kelvin Ede will serve as Senior Special Assistant on Research and Strategy.
The latest appointments signal a further expansion of Governor Mbah’s team as the Enugu State Government continues to strengthen coordination, public engagement, policy implementation and service delivery across critical sectors.
