Fire guts GGSS staff quarters in Katsina

A fire outbreak at the staff quarters of Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) in Dutsinma, Katsina State, has resulted in significant property damage.

The Divisional Fire Service Officer in Dutsinma, Murtala Aliyu Gambo, confirmed the incident, stating that firefighters responded promptly and successfully extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading to nearby houses.

Gambo added that the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

Although the value of the items lost was not disclosed, several personal belongings were destroyed in the blaze.
