Police arrest wanted armed robbery suspect in Jigawa, recover stolen camel 

The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested Shua’aibu Musa, a notorious and wanted armed robbery suspect.
Spokesman of the command, SP. Lawan Shiisu Adam confirmed the arrest in a statement issued to DAILY POST.

He said the suspect who has been on Police watchlist was arrested in connection with the theft of a camel by the operatives of Taura division on Sunday.

SP Shiisu said on investigation, it was discovered that the suspect was a wanted armed robbery suspect who had been on the police watchlist. 

He said, the arrest followed a credible information after he was declared wanted.

According to him, “During the operation, a camel suspected to have been stolen was recovered from him.” 

He said the suspect has been transferred to the SCID Dutse for diligent investigation and prosecution.
