Serving US lawmaker, Doug ‌LaMalfa is dead

Republican Representative at the United States, US Congress, Doug ‌LaMalfa of California has been confirmed dead.

His fellow lawmaker, Rep Riley Moore disclosed this in a post on his verified X handle on Tuesday.

He wrote, “Please join Mina and me in praying for the repose of Congressman Doug LaMalfa’s soul and for his wife and children.

“Eternal rest grants unto him, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him.”

The ugly development further shrinking Republicans’ narrow majority in ‍the House of Representatives ​ahead of November elections that will determine ​control ⁠of Congress.
