ABIA STATE GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCES CLOSURE OF APPLICATIONS FOR 2025 TEACHERS’ RECRUITMENT PHASE TWO

The Abia State Government, through the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, has officially announced the closure of applications for the second batch of the 2025 Teachers’ Recruitment Exercise.
According to a statement issued by the Chairman of the Recruitment Committee, Dr. Uzomaka Amah-Mbah, the application window for Phase Two has now ended, and no fresh entries will be entertained.
To ensure a transparent and seamless review process ahead of shortlisting for the Computer-Based Test (CBT), the Ministry has deployed both the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MOBSE) Portal and the State Central Recruitment (CSC) Portal for applicants to verify their submitted information.
All applicants have been directed to log into their respective portals on or before Friday, December 5, 2025, to carefully review and confirm the accuracy of their data.
Applicants who registered via the MOBSE Portal are to use the “Returning Applicants in MOBSE Portal” link, while those who applied through the CSC Portal are to access the “Returning Applicants on CSC Portal” link.
The Ministry emphasized that this verification window is the final opportunity for applicants to correct any errors. Failure to utilize this period means no further chances will be provided for data correction.
Applicants are specifically advised to ensure that the following mandatory fields are correctly filled:
Date of Birth
State of Origin
Local Government Area of Origin
State of Residence
LGA of Residence
Gender
Marital Status
Academic Qualifications
The government also warned that any false or erroneous information may result in disqualification during screening.

The Ministry reassured the public of its commitment to a transparent, fair, and merit-driven recruitment process aimed at strengthening the quality of education across Abia State.
