Aba North Chairman, Hon. Timothy Kalu Iheke Welcomes Residents to December, Urges Vigilance During Festive Season
My beloved people of Aba North,
As we joyfully step into the last month of 2025, I warmly welcome all of us to December, a season of thanksgiving, celebrations, reflection, and renewed hope. It is by God’s grace that we have come this far, and I join every family in appreciating His mercies throughout the year.
December is also a period that comes with increased activities and, sometimes, heightened risks. I therefore urge all residents of Aba North to remain vigilant and security-conscious. Let us be mindful of our movements, protect our homes and businesses, and promptly report any suspicious persons or activities to the appropriate security agencies. The safety of our community is a shared responsibility, and together, we can keep Aba North peaceful.
Be assured that under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, Abia State has prioritized the security of lives and property this Yuletide season. Enhanced security deployments, strengthened collaborations with community vigilante groups, and improved response mechanisms are already in place to ensure that every resident and visitor enjoys a safe and joyful festive period. Our administration in Aba North is fully aligned with these efforts and will continue to work tirelessly to safeguard our people.
As we prepare for Christmas, I encourage us to show love, extend kindness, support one another, and uphold the values that make Aba North a united and resilient community.
