Aba North Set for Cultural Renaissance as Ohaneze Ndigbo Launches New LGA Chapter Leadership Tomorrow
The Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Aba North Local Government Area Chapter, has officially announced the inauguration of its new leadership structure, scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Aba North Local Government Council Headquarters, beginning at 12 noon.
The highly anticipated ceremony is expected to attract prominent personalities, community leaders, and stakeholders across Abia State and beyond as the apex socio-cultural Igbo organization strengthens its presence and engagement within the Aba region. The inauguration will mark a new milestone in the pursuit of unity, cultural preservation, political coordination, and socio-economic advancement of Ndigbo within the locality.
Among the special guests expected at the event is Dr. C. C. Okwuonu, the President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Abia State Chapter, who will grace the ceremony alongside the Executive Chairman of Aba North Local Government Area, Hon. Timothy Kalu Iheke, and the newly appointed Chairman of Ohaneze Ndigbo Aba North LGA Chapter, Chief Aliche Chijioke Oti, who will officially assume leadership.
Also scheduled to serve as Chairman of the Occasion is Hon. Prince Ahamefula Ikonne, a respected figure recognized for his contributions to socio-political development within the region.
The inauguration is expected to serve as a platform for renewed commitment towards Igbo solidarity, cultural identity, youth development, progressive leadership, and community integration across national and diaspora networks.
