ABIA ARISE ARIARIA WARD 9 HOLDS GENERAL MEETING, REAFFIRMS UNWAVERING SUPPORT FOR GOVERNOR ALEX OTTI’S ADMINISTRATION
The Abia Arise chapter, Ariaria Ward 9, under Aba North Local Government Area, held its general ward meeting on Monday at Skyview Lounge, located at 40 Old Express Road, Aba. The meeting, which commenced at exactly 4 p.m., witnessed a massive turnout of members, party executives, stakeholders, and community leaders who gathered to reaffirm their steadfast commitment to the transformative leadership of Governor Alex Chioma Otti.
The meeting was presided over by the Abia Arise Ward 9 Coordinator, Mazi Kyrian Ogbonna, who in his opening remarks, expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and to the people of the ward for their unwavering belief in Governor Otti’s government. He commended members for their active participation in the movement and urged them to continue showing loyalty and dedication to the administration’s vision for a new Abia.
Also speaking, Chief Michael Chijioke Amaku (MC Boss) applauded the impressive turnout of members, describing it as a clear reflection of the people’s confidence in the present administration. He encouraged members to redouble their mobilization efforts to further expand the movement, stressing that as a structure aligned with the Governor, Abia Arise must continue to set an exemplary standard for others across the state.
Chief Amaku further informed attendees about the availability of Abia Arise membership forms, urging new members to register and join the movement officially.
During the meeting, members were also sensitized on the need to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise. The leadership emphasized that active voter registration was essential to demonstrate their political strength and deliver massive electoral support for Governor Otti in future elections.
“If we are 2,000 members in Ariaria Ward 9, our votes should equally reflect that number,” the coordinator emphasized.
In appreciation, Mazi Ogbonna thanked the Acting Chairman of Ariaria, as well as the Councilor representing Ariaria Ward 9, for their unwavering support towards the success of the meeting and the overall activities of Abia Arise in the area.
Members also lauded Governor Alex Otti for his visionary leadership and developmental strides in Aba, especially the ongoing and completed projects such as the reconstruction of Port Harcourt Road, Ohanku Road, and the Michael Okpara Auditorium, among other people-oriented initiatives that have restored the people’s confidence in governance.
The meeting was attended by local government and ward party executives, political stakeholders, community leaders, businessmen and women, and traders, all of whom pledged their continuous loyalty and support to the Alex Otti-led administration in its mission to rebuild Abia State.
