ASTOPU Umuahia Zonal Chairman, Chinweotito Appolos, Felicitates Muslims on Eid-ul-Mawlid, Preaches Peace and Unity

The Chairman of the Abia State Tricycle Operators Union (ASTOPU), Umuahia Zone, Comrade Chinweotito Godson Appolos, has extended warm greetings to Muslims in Umuahia, Abia State and across Nigeria as they celebrate this year’s Eid-ul-Mawlid.

Comrade Appolos, in a goodwill message issued to mark the occasion, described Eid-ul-Mawlid as a significant opportunity for Muslims and Nigerians at large to reflect on the enduring teachings and exemplary life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

The ASTOPU Umuahia Zone Chairman noted that the occasion serves as a reminder of the values of peace, love, compassion, humility, tolerance and selfless service to humanity, urging Nigerians to embrace these virtues in the collective pursuit of a peaceful and prosperous society.

According to him, the country stands to gain more when citizens, irrespective of their religious, ethnic and political differences, promote unity, mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence.

Appolos particularly called on Nigerians to draw inspiration from the teachings of Prophet Muhammad by demonstrating love towards one another and extending support to the less privileged and vulnerable members of society.

The union chairman also commended Muslim faithful for their contributions to the peace, progress and economic development of Umuahia, Abia State and Nigeria as a whole.

He said unity among adherents of different faiths remains indispensable to building a harmonious society, especially at a time when Nigerians are seeking greater peace, stability and collective progress.

Speaking on behalf of the leadership and members of ASTOPU Umuahia Zone, Comrade Appolos wished Muslims a joyous and fulfilling Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration, praying that the occasion would usher in renewed faith, abundant blessings, peace and prosperity for Muslim families.

He urged the Muslim faithful to celebrate responsibly while continuing to uphold the noble principles of peace, love and service to humanity associated with the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

The ASTOPU Umuahia Zone Chairman concluded by warmly congratulating Muslims on the occasion and wishing them a peaceful, memorable and rewarding Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration.
