“DSTV is Begging Me that They Want to Stream my Wedding“ — Peller Says, Rejects Alleged Broadcast Offer, Chooses YouTube, TikTok and Twitch
Popular Nigerian content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, has set social media buzzing after revealing that he allegedly turned down an offer from DStv to broadcast his highly anticipated wedding ceremony.
The internet sensation made the disclosure in a viral video shared on X, explaining that instead of allowing the ceremony to air on traditional television, he intends to livestream the event across YouTube, TikTok and Twitch, giving millions of his followers around the world direct access to the celebration.
According to him:
“DSTV is begging me that they want to stream my wedding, but I’m sorry DSTV, I’ll be streaming my wedding on Twitch, YouTube & TikTok. It will be the biggest wedding out of Africa!“
The statement has since sparked widespread conversations across social media, with supporters applauding Peller’s confidence and digital-first approach, while others questioned whether the wedding could truly live up to his bold prediction of becoming the “biggest wedding out of Africa.“
Peller is scheduled to tie the knot with fellow content creator, Jarvis, popularly known as Jadrolita, on August 1, 2026.
