GOV. ALEX OTTI SPEAKS TO ABIANS: Gov. Otti Hails Abians for Massive Turnout During President Tinubu’s Visit, Commends Spirit of Unity and Cooperation

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, has applauded the people of Abia State for their overwhelming show of love and solidarity during the recent visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the state.

 

Governor Otti gave the commendation on Thursday during the October edition of the Monthly Media Parley tagged: “Governor Alex Otti Speaks.”

 

“Governor Otti commended Abians for turning out in large numbers to welcome President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, during his recent visit,” the statement reads.

 

The Governor expressed his joy over the unity and peaceful disposition demonstrated by Abians throughout the presidential visit, describing it as a reflection of the people’s readiness to support the ongoing transformation in the state.

 

According to him, the successful hosting of the President and the commissioning of eight completed roads underscored the growing synergy between the state and the federal government.

 

“We are glad that all of us were part of the commissioning of eight roads in Abia by President Bola Tinubu through his representative, Senator Dave Umahi. From Dr. Michael Okpara Auditorium, I have discussed with the organizers that next month’s media chat will happen there,” Governor Otti said.

 

The Governor’s remarks further reinforced his administration’s commitment to transparency and consistent engagement with citizens through the Monthly Media Parley, a platform designed to keep Abians informed about government activities, progress, and future plans.

 

Governor Otti’s commendation comes at a time when Abia State is witnessing massive infrastructural development, economic rejuvenation, and social reforms aimed at restoring public confidence and positioning the state as a model of good governance in Nigeria.
