Insecurity: China supports Nigeria’s efforts in combating terrorism

Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Yu Dunhai has paid a visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The meeting was to deliberate on ways to further tighten the relationship between the two countries as both sides spoke highly of the development of the China-Nigeria Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

A statement from the Chinese embassy said that both sides agreed to further deepen practical cooperation across various fields.

Yu told President Tinubu that through the joint efforts of both countries, their relations have entered a “fast track.”

He noted “China supports Nigeria’s efforts in combating terrorism.”

He added that his country stands ready to work closely with Nigeria to accelerate the implementation of the zero-tariff policy for Nigerian exports.
