In a fresh wave of political criticism stirring nationwide reactions, prominent public affairs commentator and social justice activist, Barrister Deji Adeyanju, has issued a strong-worded statement targeting the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, accusing him of causing unrest within the current administration and alleging widespread dissatisfaction among government officials.

According to Adeyanju, “Everyone in the Tinubu’s Government is Tired of Wike’s Excesses Including Tinubu. All His Fellow Ministers Are Tired, The Service Chiefs, President’s Close Friends and Aides. Even the President is Tired. The Only Thing Wike is Useful For is Destruction of PDP.”

The activist, known for his blunt political commentary, insisted that the minister is fueling turmoil within both the ruling and opposition parties.

Adeyanju further slammed the FCT Minister and called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to “checkmate his excesses”, stressing that if not properly handled, the alleged actions of Wike could escalate into deeper political instability.

While the activist did not provide additional evidence to support his claims, his remarks add to the growing public discourse surrounding Wike’s role in national politics, especially as concerns over internal power struggles within party structures and the Federal Executive Council continue to dominate conversations.

As of now, neither the Presidency nor Minister Wike has issued a formal response to Adeyanju’s allegations, but the statement continues to circulate widely across social and political platforms, prompting renewed debate over power dynamics, loyalty, and governance style within Nigeria’s executive leadership.

More updates are expected as reactions unfold.
