Tinubu Extricating Nigerian Resources From Foreign Exploitation - Akande

Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bisi Akande, has disclosed that President Bola Tinubu is focused on removing Nigeria’s resources from the grasp of illegal foreign exploitation.

He noted that the president prioritises human capital development in areas of science and technology that would help equip young people.

Akande stated this in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State Capital, while delivering a lecture titled ‘Governance, Structural Reforms and the Economic Landscape of Nigeria in the 21st Century’ at the maiden edition of the Joel Babatola Annual Lectures organised by the Ekiti Council of Elders.

He said Tinubu is focused on strengthening Nigeria from saboteurs and neo-colonialist grumblers.

According to Akande, Tinubu plans on “strengthening the Nigerian unity against the indigenous retrogressive saboteurs and the neo-colonialist grumblers and extricating Nigerian resources from massive illegal foreign exploitations, perhaps and perhaps, at least pending the fury of the threatened invasion from the global powers and international municipalities.”

He said the agenda targets rapid infrastructure expansion, particularly in transportation and electricity, through collaboration between the private sector and different tiers of government, to support agricultural and industrial processing and improve movement of goods between urban and rural areas.

This comes amid threat by the United States, US, President, Donald Trump to invade Nigeria following reports of Christian genocide.

Trump had threatened military action that would wipe out Islamic terrorists killing Christians in the Northern part of the country.
