“WITHOUT ISRAEL, THERE WOULD BE NO AMERICA” – US Ambassador, Mike Huckabee Declares at Israeli Heritage Conference
The United States Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, has made a striking declaration on the historical and spiritual significance of Israel to the United States, asserting that America’s foundations are deeply rooted in the Jewish heritage that originated in the land of Israel.
Speaking on Tuesday evening at the opening of the International Conference on Israeli Heritage held at the historic Herodion National Park in Judea and Samaria, Ambassador Huckabee emphasized that his diplomatic mission extends beyond representing the United States in Israel.
According to him, he also bears the responsibility of helping Americans understand the critical importance of Israel to their own national identity and heritage.
Addressing attendees at the conference, Huckabee underscored the enduring connection between the Jewish people, the State of Israel, and the foundations of American civilization.
“It is your heritage, without a doubt. It is also the heritage of the United States. Without Israel, without the Jewish foundation, there would NOT be an America,“ the ambassador told the Jewish attendees.
The ambassador further stressed that the historical events that unfolded in the land of Israel have had a profound influence on the development of the United States and the values upon which it was built.
“We owe our very existence to what happened in this land,“ he added.
Huckabee’s remarks resonated strongly with participants at the conference, which focused on preserving and celebrating Israeli heritage, history, and cultural identity. His comments highlighted the enduring alliance between the United States and Israel, a relationship that has remained one of the most strategic partnerships in global diplomacy.
The ambassador’s statement came just hours after US President Donald Trump made his own emphatic remarks regarding American support for Israel amid ongoing tensions involving Iran. Speaking on the role of the United States in safeguarding Israel’s security, Trump asserted that American intervention has been indispensable to the Jewish state.
“Without the US, without me – there would be no Israel,“ Trump said.
The back-to-back statements from two of Washington’s most prominent voices on Israel have reignited discussions about the historical, political, and strategic ties binding the United States and Israel. While Huckabee focused on the historical and spiritual foundations linking both nations, President Trump emphasized the contemporary geopolitical and security dimensions of the alliance.
Together, the remarks underscore the continued importance that leading American officials place on the US-Israel relationship, portraying it as a bond rooted not only in modern strategic interests but also in shared historical and cultural heritage.
