Ngwa National Association USA Inc. (NNAUSA) to Host 2025 Scholarship Award Ceremony in Aba, Targets Education, Skills Development and Youth Empowerment

The Ngwa National Association USA Inc. (NNAUSA) has announced plans to host the 2025 edition of its Educational and Outreach Foundation and Apprenticeship and Skill Acquisition Board Scholarship Award Presentation, a flagship initiative aimed at promoting education, vocational training, and human capital development among Ngwa youths.
The scholarship award ceremony is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Aba Town Hall, Aba South Local Government Area Headquarters, with proceedings set to commence promptly at 10:00am.
The programme is being organised under the auspices of the Ngwa Educational and Outreach Foundation (NEOF) and the Ngwa Apprenticeship and Skill Acquisition Board (NASAB), two key arms of NNAUSA dedicated to advancing academic excellence, skills acquisition, and economic empowerment within the Ngwa nation.
National President and Chief Executive Officer of NNAUSA, Dr. Ugochukwu Agu, will serve as the host of the event, underscoring the association’s continued commitment to diaspora-driven development and grassroots impact in Abia State.
The Mayor of Aba South Local Government Area, Hon. Obialor Dennis Anyanwu, is expected to grace the occasion as the Chief Guest of Honour, adding institutional support to the initiative and reinforcing the partnership between the association and local government authorities.
The event will also bring together key stakeholders, education advocates, community leaders, beneficiaries, and members of the Ngwa community, both home and abroad, as scholarship recipients are formally presented with awards designed to support their academic pursuits and vocational training.
Other officials playing strategic roles in the organisation and coordination of the programme include Dame Chief (Mrs.) Ihuoma Uzoije, National Secretary of NNAUSA; Dr. Amarachi Oriaku, Chairperson of the Ngwa Educational and Outreach Foundation; and Mr. Okezie Amalaha, Chairman of the Ngwa Apprenticeship and Skill Acquisition Board.
The Home-Based Committee/Event Coordination team is being led by Dr. Chinagozi Adindu, Chairman of NNAUSA Home-Based Committee, alongside Mazi Standhope Enyinnaya Nwaigwe, Secretary of the Home-Based Committee, ensuring seamless planning and execution of the ceremony.
The 2025 scholarship award presentation is expected to further strengthen NNAUSA’s long-standing mission of investing in education, nurturing skills, and empowering the next generation of Ngwa professionals and entrepreneurs, while reinforcing Aba’s position as a hub for learning, craftsmanship
