Abia Arise Aba North Intensifies Preparations for Mega Rally in Support of Governor Alex Otti
The leadership of Abia Arise Aba North has stepped up preparations for its forthcoming Mega Rally with a strategic planning meeting aimed at ensuring the success of the highly anticipated event scheduled for July 27, 2026.
The meeting, held at the Dr. Alex Otti Campaign Office along Azikiwe Road in Aba North Local Government Area, brought together the local government leadership, ward coordinators, and key stakeholders to fine-tune plans for the rally, which is expected to attract a large turnout of supporters from across the council.
Addressing participants, the Aba North Local Government Coordinator of Abia Arise, Hon. Kenneth Emelike, welcomed members and emphasized that the Mega Rally is designed to reaffirm the group’s unwavering support, loyalty, and commitment to the administration of Governor Alex Otti. He noted that the event will also serve as an opportunity for members and residents to appreciate the governor’s remarkable developmental achievements, particularly in Aba, where ongoing infrastructural renewal and governance reforms have continued to receive widespread commendation.
Hon. Emelike also disclosed that specially branded Abia Arise shirts and caps would be produced and made available to members at affordable prices.
According to him, the branded materials will be distributed through ward stakeholders and coordinators to ensure easy access for supporters ahead of the rally.
The meeting also featured progress reports from ward coordinators, who briefed the leadership on the level of preparations within their respective wards. The reports highlighted growing enthusiasm among members and outlined various grassroots mobilization efforts already underway to ensure a successful and well-attended event.
As part of efforts to guarantee a seamless outing, several planning committees were constituted and assigned specific responsibilities, ranging from Contacts/ Mobilization to Media/publicity among others.
The committees were charged with working diligently to ensure that the Mega Rally becomes a memorable and impactful gathering that reflects the unity and strength of the Abia Arise movement in Aba North.
The strategic meeting ended with members expressing confidence that the forthcoming Mega Rally will further consolidate support for Governor Alex Otti while showcasing the commitment of Abia Arise to sustaining the administration’s vision for the continued development and transformation of Abia State.
