Abia Arise to Hold Mega Rally in Aba North, Declares Otti’s 2027 Return ‘Sacrosanct’
The Abia Arise Movement in Aba North Local Government Area has announced plans to stage a major political rally aimed at reaffirming support for Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The event, tagged “Abia Arise Aba North LGA Mega Rally 2026,” will be held under the theme, “The Governor’s 2027 Return Is Sacrosanct,” reflecting the group’s unwavering commitment to the continuation of Governor Otti’s administration and its reform agenda.
According to the organizers, the rally is scheduled to take place on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 12:00 noon at the Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba.
The gathering is expected to attract thousands of supporters, political stakeholders, community leaders, youths, women, professionals, market associations, artisans, and residents from across Aba North and beyond, in what is being described as a massive demonstration of confidence in Governor Otti’s leadership.
Organizers say the rally will celebrate the achievements of the current administration while serving as a platform to mobilize grassroots support for the governor’s re-election bid in 2027. Participants are also expected to reaffirm their commitment to the vision of building a prosperous and transformed Abia State under the banner of “A New Abia Is Here.”
Speaking on the forthcoming event, the Coordinator of Abia Arise in Aba North Local Government Area, Ambassador Kenneth Emelike, urged members of the movement and the general public to turn out in large numbers to make the rally a resounding success.
The mega rally is expected to further strengthen political mobilization efforts in Aba North as supporters continue to rally behind Governor Otti’s administration and its agenda for sustained development across the State.
