ASTOPU Aba Zone Hails Governor Alex Otti’s Transformational Leadership, Says Road Revolution Has Boosted Transport Business

The Chairman of the Abia State Tricycle Operators Union (ASTOPU), Aba Zone, Hon. Victor Azubuike, has congratulated the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office, describing his administration as one driven by purposeful governance, bold leadership, and visible transformation across all sectors of the State.

In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, Hon. Azubuike applauded Governor Otti for what he described as “three years of exceptional performance, infrastructural rebirth, and people-oriented governance,” noting that the Governor has successfully restored hope and confidence among Abians through impactful leadership.

According to the ASTOPU Aba Zone Chairman, Governor Otti’s administration has demonstrated uncommon dedication toward rebuilding Abia State through massive investments in road infrastructure, healthcare, education, security, environmental sanitation, and economic development.

He particularly commended the Governor’s aggressive road construction and rehabilitation projects across Aba and other parts of the State, stressing that the development has brought tremendous relief and economic benefits to transport operators, especially tricycle riders whose daily activities depend heavily on accessible and motorable roads.

Hon. Azubuike noted that many roads which were previously impassable and abandoned for years have now been transformed into smooth and durable routes, thereby reducing transportation difficulties, vehicle breakdowns, and operational losses suffered by operators.

He further stated that the improved road network under Governor Otti’s administration has significantly enhanced commercial activities within Aba metropolis and neighboring communities, while making movement easier for residents, traders, commuters, and transport workers.

The ASTOPU Chairman described Governor Otti as a visionary leader whose courage, competence, and determination to reposition Abia State have continued to earn him admiration and support from various groups and stakeholders across the State.

He added that transport operators in Aba remain proud beneficiaries of the administration’s infrastructural revolution and would continue to support policies and programmes aimed at advancing the welfare of the people and the development of Abia State.

Hon. Azubuike prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, strength, and protection upon Governor Otti as he continues to steer the affairs of the State toward greater prosperity and sustainable development.

He reaffirmed the commitment of ASTOPU Aba Zone to partnering with the State Government in promoting peace, orderliness, and economic growth within the transport sector.
