In what has been described as one of the most electrifying diaspora gatherings of the year, the Abia State Community in Vienna, Austria, hosted a spectacular 10th Anniversary celebration and the historic launching of its Medical Equipment Initiative, an ambitious project set to boost healthcare delivery in Abia State. The grand ceremony held at the magnificent Kral Event Centre in Vienna drew in the crème-de-la-crème of the Abia diaspora, Nigerian dignitaries, community leaders, and international well-wishers.

Standing tall among the distinguished personalities was the Executive Chairman of Aba South Local Government Area of Abia State, Hon. The newly launched Medical Equipment Initiative, described as transformative, strategic, and timely is designed to supply critical medical equipment and expertise to healthcare centres across Abia State. This bold intervention aligns seamlessly with the revolutionary healthcare agenda of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, who has been spearheading the transformation of Abia’s medical landscape.
