BREAKING: Fubara defects to APC

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has announced his defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Governor Fubara announced the development during a stakeholders meeting at the Government House on Tuesday.

He said the decision is in the interest of Rivers people.

The governor added that he has gotten the approval of President Bola Tinubu to join the ruling party.

Fubara’s defection has been much anticipated following several meetings with the President and the recent defection of 17 Rivers State House of Assembly members.
