“You have set a standard of governance and it is a challenge for all others to follow, to see how it is done seamlessly, without any noise, and things continue to change.
“We appreciate you, sir. I’m looking forward to coming to celebrate during your inauguration for the second term,“ General Musa stated.
The Minister’s remarks drew applause from the audience, underscoring growing national recognition of the developmental strides recorded under Governor Otti’s administration and reinforcing confidence in the Governor’s leadership.
Also speaking during the event, the first son of the late Major-General Aguiyi-Ironsi and former Minister of Defence, Ambassador Thomas Aguiyi-Ironsi, expressed profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Alex Otti, members of the Aguiyi-Ironsi family, and all distinguished guests for honouring the memory of his late father.
In his vote of thanks, Ambassador Aguiyi-Ironsi particularly commended Governor Otti for his outstanding performance in governance, noting that the Governor has demonstrated visionary leadership and a strong commitment to the development of Abia State.
He maintained that Governor Otti’s impressive record in office has earned him widespread public support and stated that the Governor deserves a second term to consolidate on the gains already achieved.
