#ICYMI: Abia State Releases 2025 SS2 Mandatory Central Promotion Examination Results, Records Over 90% Pass Rate

The Abia State Government has announced the release of the 2025 Senior Secondary Two (SS2) Mandatory Central Promotion Examination (MCPE) results.

In a statement signed by the Director of the Examinations Development Centre (EDC), Mrs. Kanu Ucheoma Peace, a total of 31,046 candidates across the state participated in the examination. Out of this number, 28,080 students successfully met the promotion requirements, while 2,966 failed to scale through.

The outcome represents a 90.45% pass rate and a 9.55% failure rate, a development described as encouraging for the state’s education sector.

Candidates have been advised to check their results either at the Examinations Development Centre in Umuahia or through the official online portal at https://www.abiaunifyportal.com.ng/administrator.

The release of the results marks another milestone in the state’s commitment to ensuring transparency and academic excellence in its education system.
