PROF. IHOMA NDIMELE EMERGES ABSU DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLOR AS ABSU ALUMNUS, PROF. BOND ANYAEHIE, TAKES OVER AS NEW VICE CHANCELLOR OF UNIZIK
Abia State University, Uturu, has recorded another milestone in academic leadership with the emergence of Professor Mrs. Ugoeze Roseline Ihuoma Ndimele as the new Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration). Her elevation reinforces the institution’s commitment to strengthening its management structure with seasoned scholars and administrators.
In a related development, the university community is also celebrating one of its own, Professor Bond Anyaehie, an illustrious alumnus of Abia State University, who has been appointed the new Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka.
Professor Anyaehie’s academic journey reflects remarkable depth and consistency. He earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery from Abia State University in 1998, followed by a Master’s degree in 2004, a PhD in 2009, and a Master of Public Health in 2011. His steady rise through the academic ranks has positioned him as a distinguished medical researcher, educator, and administrator.
The two appointments have been widely applauded within academic circles as significant achievements for the Abia State University community. They not only highlight the institution’s growing influence in Nigeria’s tertiary education landscape but also underscore its role in producing world-class scholars who continue to excel across leading institutions.
