According to a Nollywood source who spoke anonymously, the actor was rushed to the hospital on Monday after his health reportedly deteriorated. The source disclosed that Ekubo had been battling kidney cancer before his condition became critical.
He was said to have been placed on life support for several hours before passing away on Tuesday afternoon.
