Echezona Street Vanguard Visits Hon. Ucheonye, Declares Support Ahead of State Inauguration
The Abia-based political support group, Echezona Street Vanguard, has paid a courtesy visit to the member representing Aba Central State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Stephen Akachukwu Ucheonye, ahead of the group’s forthcoming state inauguration.
The visit, which took place on Friday, June 5, 2026, provided an opportunity for the group to congratulate Hon. Ucheonye on his emergence as the Labour Party candidate for Aba Central State Constituency in the 2027 general election.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of the group, Hon. Chijioke Michael Amaku, popularly known as MC BOSS, commended the lawmaker for what he described as vibrant and people-oriented representation over the past three years. He noted that Hon. Ucheonye’s dedication and performance have continued to earn him widespread support across the constituency.
The group’s Co-Chairman, Deacon Michael Aniorji, reaffirmed the group’s commitment towards building a better Abia State through grassroots political participation and support for credible leadership. He also informed the lawmaker that the official state inauguration of Echezona Street Vanguard has been scheduled to hold on June 20, 2026, at Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba.
In his response, Hon. Stephen Akachukwu Ucheonye appreciated the delegation for the visit and applauded the group for its efforts in mobilizing support for the administration of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR.
The lawmaker pledged his total support for the organization and confirmed his availability to attend the inauguration ceremony.
