“I Knew He Was an Armed Robber” — Lady Confesses Knowing Her Boyfriends Were Armed Robbers After Being Arrested Alongside Seven Suspected Armed Robbers
A lady has reportedly confessed to knowing that her boyfriends were involved in armed robbery after she was arrested alongside seven suspected armed robbers.
In a statement attributed to her following the arrest, the lady admitted that although she had never accompanied her current boyfriend on a robbery operation, she knew he was an armed robber and had received a mobile phone allegedly stolen during one of their criminal activities.
“I’ve never followed them to any robbery operation before, the guy I was dating gave me one of the phones that they stole. I knew he was an armed robber.
“My first boyfriend is inside prison for robbery too and that’s when I started dating this new one that’s also an armed robber,” she reportedly confessed.
Her alleged confession has sparked reactions, particularly over her admission that she knew about her current boyfriend’s criminal activities and had previously dated another man who was imprisoned for robbery.
The revelation has also raised questions about the circumstances surrounding her arrest with the seven suspected armed robbers and whether investigators will establish any direct involvement on her part in their alleged criminal activities.
However, knowing someone suspected of committing a crime or receiving a stolen item does not, by itself, establish guilt for armed robbery. Her alleged role, if any, would depend on the evidence gathered by investigators and the outcome of any legal proceedings.
The case highlights the importance of investigating not only those suspected of carrying out criminal operations but also any alleged links involving stolen property and other forms of assistance, while ensuring that every suspect’s rights are respected under the law.
