Kogi Man Who Went Viral After Marrying Two Wives On Same Day Dies
A Kogi State man who attracted widespread attention on social media after marrying two women in a single wedding ceremony has reportedly passed away, leaving family members, friends and loved ones mourning his sudden demise.
The deceased, identified as Jamiu and popularly known as Pharmacist, reportedly died on Friday, October 30, 2026, in the Okengwe Ehi community of Kogi State.
Jamiu became a subject of widespread public discussion after videos of his unusual marriage ceremony, during which he exchanged marital vows with two women on the same day, went viral across social media platforms.
His death has since triggered an outpouring of tributes, with many expressing sadness over the loss of the young man whose marriage ceremony had previously attracted considerable attention online.
Confirming his death, a master of ceremonies identified as MC Ajina shared a video from the deceased’s funeral alongside an emotional tribute celebrating his life and mourning his untimely departure.
In the tribute, MC Ajina described Jamiu as a promising young man whose life was cut short at a time when he still had a bright future and numerous dreams to accomplish.
He further expressed sympathy with the deceased’s family, friends and associates, noting that his sudden departure had created an irreplaceable vacuum in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
The tribute also offered prayers for Allah’s forgiveness, mercy and eternal rest for the deceased, while asking for strength and comfort for his grieving family and loved ones.
Jamiu’s passing has once again served as a painful reminder of life’s uncertainty and the unpredictable nature of death, particularly when it claims a young person with seemingly many years ahead.
