Aba South Chairman, Obialor Denis Anyanwu Welcomes Residents to December, Urges Vigilance Ahead of Yuletide

With gratitude to God and an unshakable hope for brighter days, I warmly welcome every one of you to the last month of the year, December, a season of joy, love, thanksgiving, and reflection. As we cross into this festive period, I celebrate your resilience, your unity, and your unwavering spirit that continues to define Aba South.
December is a beautiful month, but it is also a period known for increased activities that often come with certain risks. I urge all our residents, traders, business owners, transporters, and visitors to be security-conscious, stay vigilant, and avoid movements or gatherings that appear suspicious. If you see anything unusual or notice any strange behaviour, do not hesitate to alert the necessary security agencies immediately. Your prompt reports can save lives and keep our communities safe.
I am pleased to reassure you that the administration of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, has put in place comprehensive security measures to guarantee a peaceful and crime-free Yuletide season. Enhanced patrols, strengthened intelligence networks, improved lighting in key areas, and collaboration with all security operatives are ongoing to ensure that Aba South remains safe for businesses, families, and visitors throughout the festivities. Under Governor Otti’s leadership, Abia is experiencing a new level of proactive and responsive security architecture, and Aba South is fully aligned with these reforms.
As your Chairman, I remain committed to working closely with all security stakeholders to sustain the peace we currently enjoy. Let us all play our part, be alert, be responsible, be our brother’s keeper, and maintain the unity that continues to propel our LGA forward.
