ASTOPU CHAIRMAN, ABA ZONE, HON. VICTOR AZUBUIKE GREETS ABA RESIDENTS AS NOVEMBER BEGINS, REASSURES OF ASTOPU’S COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE AND SAFETY
As the month of November unfolds and the year gradually draws to an end, the Chairman of the Abia State Tricycle Operators Union (ASTOPU), Aba Zone, Hon. Victor Chigozirim Azubuike, has extended warm felicitations to all residents and commuters across the Aba metropolitan area.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Azubuike expressed heartfelt appreciation to the people of Aba for their continued support, cooperation, and peaceful relationship with members of ASTOPU, noting that the union remains steadfast in its mission to promote discipline, safety, and service excellence among its members.
He assured residents that ASTOPU will continue to uphold its commitment to effective service delivery, ensuring that operators maintain the highest standards of conduct and professionalism while conveying passengers and goods within the city.
While wishing everyone a happy and prosperous new month, the Chairman urged all tricycle operators to be extra cautious and vigilant in their daily operations, especially as the festive season approaches. He emphasized the need for strict compliance with traffic regulations, careful handling of passengers, and proper maintenance of vehicles to avoid accidents or any form of misconduct.
Hon. Azubuike also called on members of the public to promptly report any careless or reckless activity by any operator to the union’s zonal office for immediate attention, assuring that disciplinary measures will be taken where necessary to maintain order and protect the image of the union.
“As we enter November, let us renew our commitment to discipline, safety, and service.
“ASTOPU will not relent in ensuring that our roads remain safe and our operators remain responsible. Together, we can make Aba a model city for transportation excellence,” he stated.
