ASTOPU Umuahia Zone Celebrates Secretary, Hon. Anosike Igwebike, Calls for Unity Ahead of 2027
The Abia State Tricycle Operators Union (ASTOPU), Umuahia Zone, has celebrated its Zonal Secretary, Hon. Anosike Igwebike, on the occasion of his birthday, describing the milestone as an opportunity to honour his dedication, leadership and contributions to the growth of the union.
The birthday celebration brought together the leadership and members of ASTOPU Umuahia Zone, who felicitated with Igwebike and acknowledged his commitment to the welfare, unity and progress of tricycle operators within the zone.
Beyond the birthday celebration, the occasion also provided an opportunity to highlight the importance of unity, cooperation and collective responsibility within the union as its members look ahead to the 2027 general elections.
In his response to the birthday felicitations, Igwebike expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of ASTOPU Umuahia Zone under the Chairmanship of Comrade Chinweotito Godson Appolos for remembering and celebrating him on his special day.
He told the union leadership and members that the greatest birthday gift he would receive would be for them to work together in synergy, maintain unity and collectively deliver a resounding vote for the re-election of Governor Alex Otti in 2027.
He also stressed the importance of not only mobilising support but ensuring that votes freely cast are properly protected, urging members to remain organised, peaceful and committed to the collective political decision of the union.
For Igwebike, the birthday celebration was therefore not simply about marking another year, but about renewing a shared commitment to unity, service and the continued pursuit of what members believe is in the best interest of Abia State.
The ASTOPU Umuahia Zone leadership and members, in celebrating their Zonal Secretary, prayed for greater wisdom, strength, good health, prosperity and many more productive years.
The celebration ended on a note of renewed solidarity, with members expressing their goodwill to Igwebike and reaffirming the importance of working together as a united body.
As he begins another chapter of his life, the ASTOPU Umuahia Zone wishes Hon. Anosike Igwebike a happy birthday and many more years of impactful service.
