According to the latest global data released by Numbeo, Nigeria has been ranked as the country with the lowest quality of life in 2025. The ranking, which analyzed various socio-economic indicators across over 80 countries, places Nigeria at the bottom of the list, reflecting the nation’s ongoing struggles with insecurity, inflation, healthcare, and living standards.

The Quality of Life Index by Numbeo measures a country’s overall well-being based on key indicators such as safety, healthcare quality, cost of living, pollution, purchasing power, traffic, and climate.
