ONN Unveils Abia Executive Council, Names Pst. Benjamin Amamba Acting Chairman, and TheKELVINATOR PRO
Ogbako Ndígbo Nile Worldwide (ONN), a socio-cultural organisation committed to promoting Igbo unity, cultural heritage, development and security, has constituted a new Abia State Executive Council to strengthen its activities and deepen its presence across the state.
At the centre of the newly constituted leadership is Pastor Benjamin Chimenka Amamba, popularly known as “The Prof,” who has been appointed Acting State Chairman, while Mr. Kelvin Orih, popularly known as “TheKelvinator,” has been appointed Public Relations Officer (PRO).
The appointments bring together a broad team of professionals, community leaders and stakeholders entrusted with advancing the organisation’s objectives and coordinating its activities across Abia State.
As Acting State Chairman, Pastor Amamba is expected to provide leadership and direction for the Abia State chapter, coordinate its executive structure and help drive the organisation’s socio-cultural agenda in collaboration with other state officers and zonal coordinators.
His appointment places him at the forefront of ONN’s efforts to strengthen organisational cohesion in Abia, mobilise members and promote initiatives consistent with the group’s commitment to the welfare and advancement of Ndigbo.
Also playing a central role in the new structure is Kelvin Orih (TheKelvinator), who assumes the position of Public Relations Officer. His responsibilities will include projecting the organisation’s activities, managing public communication, strengthening media relations and ensuring that ONN’s programmes, initiatives and positions receive effective public visibility.
The Publicity and Socials arm of the Abia council also includes Mrs. Ugonma Okoro as Director of Socials, creating a communication and engagement structure designed to connect the organisation more effectively with members and the wider public.

The new structure gives ONN a leadership framework spanning administration, finance, publicity, social engagement, welfare, security, women and youth affairs, as well as the three senatorial zones of Abia State.
Ogbako Ndígbo Nile Worldwide, commonly known as ONN, is a socio-cultural organisation focused on fostering unity among the Igbo people, preserving and promoting Igbo cultural heritage, and contributing to the development and security of Alaigbo.
The organisation operates under the motto: Maka Ọdịmma Ndígbo, meaning For the Good of Ndígbo, and is headed globally by President General, Amb. Dr. Akpelu Azunna E., Ph.D., FIPMD, FONN.
With its headquarters in Owerri, Imo State, the organisation’s expansion and strengthening of its Abia leadership structure signals an increased focus on grassroots coordination, communication, cultural advocacy and community engagement within the state.
The emergence of Pastor Benjamin Chimenka Amamba as Acting State Chairman and Orih Ihemelam Kelvin as Public Relations Officer places leadership and strategic communication at the heart of the new Abia structure, with both offices positioned to play important roles in coordinating and pro
jecting the organisation’s activities across the state.
