“Since 1986, I Never Voted, But My Vote Will Go to Alex Otti“ — Mr. Pascal Chukwu Nwogu Reveals, as AJPF Collapses Structure into Echezona Street Vanguard
The Ariaria Junction Political Forum (AJPF) has officially collapsed its structure into the Echezona Street Vanguard for Dr. Alex Otti, in a move aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation in support of the Abia State Governor ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The event, held at Ariaria Junction along the Port Harcourt-Enugu Expressway in Aba, attracted members and leaders of the Echezona Street Vanguard, who welcomed the new entrants into the growing political support structure.
Addressing the gathering, the State Chairman of Echezona Street Vanguard for Dr. Alex Otti, Hon. Chijioke Michael Amaku, described Governor Alex Otti as an answered prayer for the people of Abia. He traced the history and vision of the organisation, explaining that it was established to deepen grassroots mobilisation by taking the message of the governor’s developmental strides directly to communities and particularly streets across the state.
Hon. Amaku said the group’s mission is to sustain public awareness of the achievements of the Otti led-administration while laying a solid grassroots foundation ahead of the 2027 governorship election. He also encouraged members and residents who are yet to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Cards to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise to ensure they participate in future elections.
He commended the Coordinator of the Ariaria Junction Political Forum, Mrs. Joy Onu, for successfully leading members of the forum into the Echezona Street Vanguard and disclosed that the formal inauguration of the new members would be announced at a later date.
Also speaking, the Contact and Mobilisation Officer of Echezona Street Vanguard for Dr. Alex Otti and Councillor representing Eziama Ward 1 in the Aba North Legislative Council, Hon. Bishop Anthony Ejiogu, charged the new members to remain dedicated, focused and committed to the ideals of the organisation. He stressed that the success of the movement would depend largely on the commitment and active participation of its members.
The State Treasurer of the Echezona Street Vanguard, High Chief Ikechukwu Ozukwe, applauded the members of the Ariaria Junction Political Forum for joining the organisation. He explained that the group’s primary objective is to mobilise residents across communities and streets where the achievements of the present administration are yet to be fully appreciated, while promoting awareness of the New Abia vision under Governor Alex Otti.
One of the highlights of the event came from Mr. Pascal Chukwu Nwogu, who expressed delight at becoming a member of the Echezona Street Vanguard for Dr. Alex Otti. He revealed that although he had never voted in any election since 1986, he has now obtained his Permanent Voter’s Card and pledged to cast his vote for Governor Alex Otti, citing the governor’s developmental projects across Abia State, particularly the transformation taking place in Aba.
