Aba North Local Government Area is poised for a historic and transformational moment as the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, prepares to visit the commercial nerve centre of the state for the official flag-off of the iconic Enyimba International Hotel, Aba, and the commissioning of the Ovom Street Project.
In a courtesy message issued ahead of the Governor’s visit scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2025, the Mayor of Aba North LGA, Hon. Timothy Kalu Iheke, on behalf of the industrious people of the area, warmly welcomes the Governor, describing the visit as historic, symbolic, and a major milestone in the ongoing transformation of Aba.
The Mayor noted that the flag-off of the Enyimba International Hotel represents more than a ceremonial event, stressing that it is a bold statement of economic revival and a clear demonstration of the Governor’s commitment to restoring abandoned assets and repositioning Aba as a thriving hub for commerce, hospitality, and investment.
