Activist, Justice Ozobi Applauds Governor Alex Otti’s Leadership After Peaceful Protest in Aba, Hails Him as “Governor Ndi Igbo”
A social activist, Justice Ozobi, has publicly expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, for what he described as responsible leadership that ensured the protection of youths during a peaceful protest in the state.
Ozobi made the remarks through a post published on his Facebook page, where he commended the Abia State Government and praised the governor for prioritizing the safety and rights of citizens while the demonstration unfolded.
In his message, the activist openly celebrated the governor’s approach to handling the protest, noting that the conduct of the state government reflected a commitment to democratic values and respect for civil liberties.
“I want to commend the Abia State government and its governor
“From today, I call you ‘Governor Ndi Igbo’
“Your Excellency, Governor Alex Otti, today’s events show Nigeria’s intentions, but thanks to your leadership, our youths were protected during the peaceful protest.
“It’s clear the focus was on suppressing dissent rather than addressing insecurity.
We have insecurity everywhere in the country but the military will always show their powers on civilians
“We appreciate your commitment to human rights and values.
“The protest was a success, with no damage. God bless Abia State government..
“I witnessed it with my eyes“
The activist’s remarks quickly gained traction on social media, attracting numerous reactions from Nigerians who flooded the comment section with messages of support and commendation for the governor.
Several commenters praised Governor Otti’s leadership style and expressed admiration for what they described as a people-centered administration.
One commenter, Nnamdi Izuogu, wrote:
