Eid al-Fitr: ASTOPU Chairman, Victor Azubuike Rallies Muslims for Unity, Peace, and Shared Prosperity
The Chairman of the Abia State Tricycles Operators Union (ASTOPU), Aba Zone, Hon. Victor Azubuike, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful within Aba Zone on the occasion of this year’s Eid al-Fitr celebration, urging them to sustain the virtues of peace, sacrifice, and unity exemplified during the holy month of Ramadan.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Azubuike described Eid al-Fitr as a significant spiritual milestone that symbolizes the triumph of faith, discipline, and devotion to Almighty God. He noted that the period offers a profound opportunity for reflection on the values of patience, compassion, and selflessness, which are essential for building a harmonious and progressive society.
The ASTOPU Chairman commended Muslim residents in Aba Zone, particularly members of the union, for their resilience, dedication to their livelihoods, and continued contributions to the socio-economic growth of the area. He acknowledged their commitment to peaceful coexistence and emphasized that their role in fostering unity within the community remains invaluable.
Hon. Azubuike further called on residents within the Zone, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, to embrace the spirit of togetherness, stressing that sustainable development can only be achieved in an atmosphere of mutual respect and collective responsibility.
He prayed for God’s acceptance of the prayers, fasting, and sacrifices offered during Ramadan, while wishing the Muslim faithful a joyful and peaceful Eid celebration filled with blessings, happiness, and renewed hope.
