Reconstruction of Enyimba Hotel Project Progresses Rapidly as Governor Otti Prepares for Flag-Off Ceremony as Radisson Blu Set to Manage 120-Room World-Class Facility

The Abia State Government has announced significant progress in the ongoing reconstruction of the iconic Enyimba Hotel project in Aba, with plans already underway for Governor Alex Chioma Otti to officially flag-off the project in the coming weeks.

According to the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu, who made this known during a press briefing at the Government House, Umuahia, after this week’s State Executive Council (SEC) meeting presided over by Governor Otti, the Enyimba Hotel project is envisioned as a major catalyst for economic growth and tourism in the state.

The hotel, which will feature 120 state-of-the-art rooms and modern facilities, is set to be managed by Radisson Blu, a globally renowned international hospitality brand known for its excellence in hotel management and luxury service delivery.

The partnership with Radisson Blu, Prince Kanu noted, reflects Governor Otti’s strategic drive to restore investor confidence in Abia and reposition Aba as a commercial and tourism hub in the South-East region. 

The Commissioner further highlighted that the Enyimba Hotel, when completed, will not only redefine hospitality standards in the state but also create employment opportunities and boost the local economy.
